I have been trying to capture the ultimate photo for over 30 years. Starting with a diploma from Algonquin College’s photography program to numerous work shops, including Zone VI studios in Vermont and New York based photographer Larry Fink the photo still alludes me.
With numerous shows under my belt the latest being 1/Time at the Parrott Gallery and countless hours printing custom black and white for exhibits at The National Archives, and the National Gallery of Canada also the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography I still have a thirst to get the ultimate shot.
Currently I’m working on a series depicting working people and also I am constantly taking landscapes in which I try to incorporate the human element.
Nature doesn’t work in straight lines, I like to show the juxtaposition of human’s need for straight forward thinking against the randomness of Mother Nature.
